*Oracle APEX Developer Location: Raleigh, NC Duration 6 - 12 months * Job Details: Technical Skills and Experience: The duties of the Developer will include, but are not limited to, performing the tasks listed below: Must have at least 6+ years of experience. The Client is seeking a short term (approx. 6 month) contractor. This is an APEX Software Developer position that will be a part of Client’s effort to replace mainframe legacy systems with applications being developed utilizing newer technology. The technology being used is Oracle Application Express (APEX) rapid web application development tool for the Oracle database. The selected candidate will assist with the application design and analysis, business rule identification and validation, Oracle APEX application development, code documentation and unit testing and report creation and validation..
Job responsibilities include: Review Functional and Technical requirements for clarity. Assist with the Application design and analysis as well as provide input to the Database design. Assist with the Integration design for data exchange, import and export. Business Rule identification and validation. Oracle APEX Application development, code documentation and unit testing. Assist project management and QA Analyst in the creation of the test plan and test scenarios whose scope include new code or changes in existing code. Ensure site design integrity and quality control consistency throughout a projects lifecycle. Communicate with the project team throughout all stages of design.
