Dear wg participants, The routing wg, like all other RIPE working groups, adopted a chair selection process. The RIPE Routing Working Group should attempt to maintain two Chairpersons whenever possible. As a large part of the work of the Chairpersons is in creating an agenda for the Working Group meetings at RIPE meetings, these are generally appointed by consensus of those present at a Working Group meeting. Each of the Chairpersons may periodically offer to stand down to allow new candidates to stand in their place. The Chairperson that wishes to stand down should announce that to the Working Group’s mailing list two weeks before the meeting. Nominations for Chairpersons may be accepted up to the day before the Working Group’s meeting. So it is time for me to let other people step forward and volunteer to become routing wg co-chair. I have to say it has been great being working with my co-chairs along the years: Joachim Schmitz, Rob Evans and now Paolo Moroni. Let us know about your interest so we can include some time in the wg agenda at RIPE 75 to allow for introduction of the candidates (even if you are not physically attending this time around you can still volunteer) Regards, Joao Damas
