Thanks - I had eventually(!) thought of that, but of course the format is then a little different - however the A282/A13/A12 do exist in the tiles, I've not spent much time beyond that yet. Neither pyroute nor pyrender seem to like them though. I'll strip the extra tags off my cached copy at some point & see what breaks it.
