Dear Wolfgang, Wikipedia has no article on the shootingStar -algorithm, http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_Star this is one of the first things I checked when I started searching for it last year. In fact, I only find the most standard algorithms there and none that supports restrictions or cost on turns between 2 edges.
