Hi there!Trying to create a new bicycle route planner, i'm wondering which problems there are when using the openstreetmap data ? I just know of the problem when there are unconnected ways, so the algorithm fails or calculates creepy routes. Can you tell me what other complications there can be? I have to know this, because then I can change the osm data in order to avoid these troubles.
And some other questions concerning tags: - are there some advantages or disadvantaged for the routing when creating/drawing a new cycle road, I mean highway=cycleway besides for example highway=secondary (not just adding cycleway=track) ? I have a big group who can map every meter of the whole city. Therefore can anyone tell me what to tag else to get a good database for the bicycle routing?? thanks in advance kind regards from the moon
