Let's get the ball rolling!

To kick things off on this list - and hopefully to get some advance preparation under way - I'm proposing two areas for some initial examination:   1. Descriptions of today's of the path/routing/addressing mechanism prevalent today (the current state) 2. Requirements for how addressing (identification) and routing under HIPAA (the future state)   Thus, I'm suggesting that interested parties begin to share their thoughts and recommendations on these two area via this list.   Also, to aid in the capture, collection and management of everyone's contributions, I propose using two different message subjects:   1. Identification & Routing Current State 2. Identification & Routing Future State   Additionally, I'd like to propose that we develop a glossary for all of us to use in addressing these issues. In this way when we use terms or labels, we can all be singing from the same page - and using agreed-to semantic....what a novel idea!
