Sorry, I had intended to reply back to the mailing list, but that didn't seem to happen. > > On Monday 14 Jan 2008, Terry Duell wrote: > [HostFS] > > OK, that's what I had expected and had used normal networking to get > > files to the Linux box and I then shifted them into HostFS directory, > > but that appears to be completely useless. I am using the hard disc with !Boot included, that is available on the RPCemu web site. I haven't done anything myself to install it. After boot, the HostFS icon is there and if I select it a HostFS directory viewer window opens, but files that I have put into the HostFS dir (via Linux) aren't seen, and if I try copying !Boot (to test what happens) from IDEDisc4 to HostFS it throws an error after a short while saying that the file HostFS:$.!Boot not found. > > > The CD-ROM doesn't appear to be able to do anything on my machine, > > other than tell me that it is empty. OK, but I have no idea how to get a copy of the roms. I suspect that re-installing them into my RPC to do so will cause all sorts of problems as it is now all set up for 4.39 > > The only problem I currently have is that sound doesn't work, but that's > no great worry for me. > > [ SVN build ] > > Yes it all worked OK, but the latest sources haven't made any real > > difference. I have access to Windows but really like to avoid it. -- Regards, Terry Duell _______________________________________________ Rpcemu mailing list [email protected] http://www.riscos.info/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rpcemu
