Not found but I see some code which checks for a CD but the source
says it's only for windows.

Yes but that's a problem because the linux version in my case has no
gui at all. The emulator just pops a windows with the RISC OS contents
with no menubar attached. Is this correct or should the linux version
also have a menu structure?
