I did reply earlier in the day to say that a clean install did work.
That post has not arrived back here yet. It must have arrived somewhere
as I had an off list response.

I did try an install on another machine that did have 0.8.0 on it and
did have the missing file problem. alleg42.dll was missing for a start.
I replaced that with a copy from another working RPCemu spoon and then
also had to replace cmos.ram. That 0.8.1 is spooning away perfectly here
now.

I also reported a keyboard problem. That turned out to be down to
Microsoft's eHome MCIR109 keyboard driver that comes with Vista Ultimate
and Home Premium. Just get rid of it, unless it is actually required
that is. Both of the machines are Media Centre jobs with an IR remote
controller so maybe this driver appears as part of the package.
