It is tap.kext, not tap/kext. Look in the directories to see what is
actually there.

See the 'Note:' at the end of part 2, that is what I used.

show what should be installed.

That just comfirms it has all gone a bit wrong.

It is en1 for wireless, see 'ifconfig' in the terminal.
