I Peter, I have that problem in the past and posted some info on January 2012. Here is the relevant extract for a workaround:
1) The drive is not listed by RPCEmu in the menu I got around this by modifying rpc.cfg manually by setting cdrom_type to 72. It would be nice to document somewhere that it correspond to the code ascii of the drive letter + 3, so that others users with the same problem can work around it. Using this configuration my CD drive E: becomes accessible from RPCEmu and works fine with data CDs. > -----Message d'origine----- > De : [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] De la part > de Peter Howkins > Envoyé : vendredi 8 mars 2013 21:24 > À : [email protected] > Objet : Re: [Rpcemu] See a CD in RPCEmu > > > On Fri, Mar 08, 2013 at 07:45:29PM +0000, Dave Symes wrote: > > Thanks to the help from Tony, I'm almost done with my RPCEmu setting up. > > > > So, I have a CD with some RO software on it, how do I configure RPCEmu > > filer to display this CD. > > I was about to say "Just select the Host CD/DVD(drive letter) entry off > the CDROM menu". > > But then I discovered the bug in which that menu wasn't getting populated. > It's broken in 0.8.9, we'll have to roll a new release out, then it's as > simple as CD goes in the drive, and select which windows drive to map the > cdrom too from the menu. > > Peter > > -- > Peter Howkins > [email protected] > > _______________________________________________ > Rpcemu mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.riscos.info/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rpcemu _______________________________________________ Rpcemu mailing list [email protected] http://www.riscos.info/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rpcemu
