Hi all, I have solved the problem, I downloaded the source code again and started afresh, it seems that there was a error created by me when I extracted the source. With the newly downloaded source file duly extracted, and a suitable ROM image filed in the correct directory the source compiled correctly and I now have a fully functioning RISC OS 5 emulation running sweetly on my MX-Linux desktop.
