this is not functionality that we want to see or maintain in rpm. Period.
Copy-on-write is an interesting technology in itself and we'll be exploring
that in the future, but this "transcoding on the fly" business is insecure and
not fit for general purpose use. And that's why it's be poor use of your
resources to support this case.
