Ehh, why? Just let each x11-xorg-drv-foo package create a small subpackage x11-xorg-drv-foo-hwinfo and track those in with a dep. Then you only have to do a rebuild of r-c-d when new pacakge get introduced (which shouldn't happen that often) > I'm not sure if it would be the best solution, but > implementing a second tool aimed at helping users install the right > proprietary > drivers for their hardware would work around the constant update problem, an > open the door to letting us suggest additional kmods (ie for wireless) for > their system. I tend to say a two step solution with different tools just confuse users. Ideally it should be possible to chose, install and enable a driver with just one tool and just one or two clicks in it. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
