--- Comment #5 from Bernard Johnson <bjohn...@symetrix.com> 2009-01-05 17:17:56 --- (In reply to comment #1) > This package seemingly is not 64bit clean: > ... > I could provide a patch to hack around this issue, but ... > ... shorten's license doesn't grant a license to modify the code. > Not good :( Are we to assume since there is no explicit grant to modify that it can't be done? The license doesn't address modifications at all. (In reply to comment #3) > AFAIK this is still used in parts of the archive.org music archive. Correct. I believe some live recordings are still being done in shorten too. (In reply to comment #4) > FFMpeg has an LGPLed decoder for Shorten. I didn't know that. I guess I wasn't setup with ffmpeg when I first built this package on Fedora years ago :) The decoder is all I really care about anyway. If the consensus is that this package is too much trouble to add, I'll drop the request. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
