I object to Obsoleting packages without replacement. (And if there is a
replacement, the replacement should Obsolete the package, not a catch-all like
this.) If the package has broken dependencies, users will have to remove it
anyway. If it does not, then why force them to remove a working package?

(I had actually posted this objection to the list on January 31, before the
package was approved, but unfortunately, it was eaten by
