Hi

FYI, Virtualbox is broken in f28 I will remove it from any stable
repo
(GA and updates) and leave it in updates-testing until someone
unbreak
it: We are not supposed to replace any fedora packages.

did you read comment #72

you need a modified version of vboxsf to work with the upstream-kernel
version of the vboxguest module. This modified version is available
here:
https://github.com/jwrdegoede/vboxsf/

Right unfortunately the vboxsf version for the upstream kernel
is stuck in review (waiting for someone to make time to review it)
and I cannot backport it to the Fedora kernel until it is
accepted upstream (the Fedora kernel team does not want non
upstream code backported).

This is a good reason to keep akmod-virtualbox alive for F28,
but with my vboxsf code from above (which is intended for and
works with the upstream kernel) instead of virtualbox's own
vboxsf code which will not work with the upstream vboxguest
driver. This sucks, but it is what it is.

This is NOT a good reason to keep the virtualbox-guest-additions
package alive. There is no reason to have that in rpmfusion
anymore and as Nicolas said we have a clear policy that
rpmfusion will never replace Fedora pkgs.

Regards,

Hans
