There is a request to have this driver and as I understand the upstream driver
isn't in the same level of usability. We can introduce this driver as an
alternative until a fully usable upstream driver exists.

I don't think it worth to wait for 2/3 kernel cycle preventing end-users to
have a workable solution (or to find a solution elsewhere which is equally
terrible).

If ever the upstream driver is in perfect shape and this driver start to be
harder to maintain, we can still deprecate it having the noop package (that
build nothing) and remove the packages in the next fedora version. (like what
was done with wireguard).
