For Fedora 14 (either i386 or x86_64), the kernel module packages for open-vm-tools are at version 0.0.0.301124. For example:

    akmod-open-vm-tools-0.0.0.301124-1.fc14.1.i686.rpm
     kmod-open-vm-tools-0.0.0.301124-1.fc14.2.i686.rpm
    akmod-open-vm-tools-0.0.0.301124-1.fc14.1.x86_64.rpm
     kmod-open-vm-tools-0.0.0.301124-1.fc14.2.x86_64.rpm

However, the user-space packages are at version 0.0.0.243334. For example:

    open-vm-tools-0.0.0.243334-1.fc14.i686.rpm
    open-vm-tools-0.0.0.243334-1.fc14.x86_64.rpm

The kernel module packages all require "open-vm-tools-kmod-common >= 0.0.0.301124". The "open-vm-tools-kmod-common" feature is actually provided by "open-vm-tools". Per above, this is at version 0.0.0.243334, which is too low to satisfy the requirement. The result is that the RPM Fusion release of open-vm-tools cannot be installed under Fedora 14.

Any suggestions? Is open-vm-tools-0.0.0.301124 on the way? I see none in the testing-updates repositories. :-(
