Summary: segfault when plotting

Initial Comment:
I searched the mailing lists and found an entry suggesting a bug would be filed
but did not find the bug entry. Since I already committed one small faux-pas
today (submitting an unneeded patch for a problem that's already fixed in
1.0-RC2) I don't want to enter another bug. Here is what I get when running the
simple plot demo after installing v1.0-RC2 with R v2.4.1:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]  ~ $ python
Python 2.4.3 (#1, Jun 13 2006, 16:41:18)
[GCC 4.0.2 20051125 (Red Hat 4.0.2-8)] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> from rpy import *
RHOME= /usr/lib/R
RVERSION= 2.4.1
RVER= 2041
RUSER= /home/billb
Loading Rpy version 2041 .. Done.
Creating the R object 'r' ..  Done
>>> x = range(0,10)
>>> y = [ 2*i for i in x ]
>>> r.plot_default(x,y)
>>> Error during wrapup: C stack usage is too close to the limit

This may not help much but your example works for me using:

Python 2.3.5, Windows XP with R 2.4.1 and rpy 1.0-RC2

I have also tried a few combinations with the previous release, R 2.4.0

Python 2.4.3, Windows XP with R 2.4.0 and rpy 1.0-RC2
Python 2.3.5, Windows XP with R 2.4.0 and rpy 1.0-RC2
Python 2.3.5, Windows XP with R 2.4.0 and rpy 0.99.2 (patched)
