Hi Rpy-ers: I am trying to install Rpy on my windows XP. But I didn't succeed. I looked through this list and found some related but not exact same problems. There was no definite answer to those questions either. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.
Here's the error. When I tried to import rpy in python, I got an error saying Unable to determine R version from the registry. Trying another method. RHOME= C:\PROGRA~1\R\R-25~1.0 RVERSION= 2.5.0 RVER= 2050 RUSER= C:\Documents and Settings\(my username) Loading the R DLL C:\PROGRA~1\R\R-25~1.0\bin\R.dll .. Done. Loading Rpy version 2050 .. Then python restarts. I am using Python 2.5.1 and R 2.5.0. In my computer, the R bin folder is by default called "C:\Program files\R\R-2.5.0\bin". Is this the problem?
