You probably have good reasons for wanting the older Python 2.5, but I 
want to highlight that the rpy2 2.2.x series (current is 2.2.1) working 
with the current Python 2.7 has nice improvements and that I don' think 
that there is (free) support for the rpy2 2.1.x series.
