I am not understanding this at all.  Are you claiming that
if C is GPL and I write B to make it easier to run C from A,
that B must be GPL'd?  I have never seen such an argument.
(Again, I am not trying to parody your argument, I am trying
to understand what it is.)

I am really missing something here.  Suppose for the sake of argument that
RPy can be BSD licensed.  How would that circumvent or weaken the R license?

I'm really trying to understand here; I'm just not getting it.
I make no pretense of expertise in these matters.  Assume I'm
not getting it because of something I don't understand about licensing
and then, if you are willing, tell me what it is.
