Hi Wasi, Before you start compiling RRDtool, make sure you have the following packages installed on your system: Perl 5.005 GNU make GNU gcc If you want to start hacking RRDtool, make sure you also have these: GNU autoconf GNU automake GNU libtool Most of the software can be found on http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/ Now you are ready to compile the code: sh configure make make install This will configure, compile and install RRDtool in /usr/local/rrdtool-VERSION. Be sure to compile with gcc and not with cc (HP compiler). Try these steps and pray the lord. If you are lucky rrdtool will be compiled. By the way I am also trying to compile rrdtool on a HP box and I didn't succeeded.
