RRD does store and process data in terms of floating point numbers,
so it *should* be no problem. I know some RRD users (including some I
know using Cricket) are graphing multi-gigabit interfaces with RRD.
I'm actually graphing several gigabit Ethernet interfaces with both
Cricket/RRD and with MRTG, but the traffic levels on them are not so
high that I've run into this MRTG problem - the highest real value I've
seen on them is in the 60Mb/s range. Therefore I can't personally
swear to it working for very high total load data values, but I think
others might.
