Use SNMP v2, which uses 64-bit counters. You can do this by specifying 
":::::2" after your target, so it looks like:

Target[blah]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:::::2

More information is in the MRTG configuration reference documentation. But
I poll ALL of my devices with SNMP v2 now, and haven't noticed any 
problems - only fixed my counter resets on some of my higher-cap circuits.
