Perhaps this makes no sense at all and it is obvious that I don't know what I'm talking about but I'll try anyway: Isn't it true that a DLL is just a library? Wouldn't that indicate that it is just a matter of using the various functions defined in RRDtool from another program, perhaps by adding some glue in order to make these functions available to other programs.
