Hello all! I have some problems with some graphs. On my network where i work the there are some clients using a dial-up connection. When the line is down i update the "some_client_name".rrd file 0 bytes in and 0 bytes out, but when i look at the graph i see that the traffic made by the client is about 120M in and out (or something like this is no possible for that dial-up connection).i am wondering if these peacks apears because snmp returs an error and rrdtool takes it as a very high number or because i update the rrd file with 0 instead of the last value from that file.
The same thing is happening when i get the bits from an eth when that eth is down for some seconds. What can i do to update my rrd files with 0 when something like this is happening? I mention that is my "colect" file i'm asking if the snmpget returns an error i update the rrd file with "N:0:0".
