MIN and MAX are better understood when you start consolidating. a) RRA:MAX:0.5:2:100 b) RRA:MIN:0.5:2:100 c) RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:2:100 consolidating two values, 1000 and 2000, results in: a) 2000 this is max(1000,2000) b) 1000 this is avg(1000,2000) c) 1500 this is min(1000,2000) Of course, "consolidating" only one value does not do much.
