Why do you need to do that? I can't think of a single
reason you'd need to force feed an rrd file with data
from a log file...

I just made a perl script that extract data from the log file and try to
update it to a new rrd file with this command

"rrdtool update file.rrd
Timestamp_from_log_file:Incoming_from_log_file:Outgoign_from_log_file

but I get this error

"ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 1003368301 when last update
time is 1003412080 (minimum one second step)"

how can I bypass this ?

thanks
