Ok, thanks all for replying. Summarizing: - It's not possible using only RRDtool (at this moment, stable versions) - Everybody in need for a percentile function is just doing some external things - In the code snapshot there's a working version of the PERCENT function This PERCENT function indeed does the right job for me... Moreover: it allows indeed to do a calculation over any vname (thus not limiting to raw datasources, one at a time, as the external scripts do) Too bad it is still in beta-status... :-( Leaves the following questions: - When can we expect the first stable release including the VDEF statement (allowing PERCENT, MAXIMUM, etc)? - Is it recommended to use the beta-release for calculating the percentile rule and the normal release for the rest of the graph? greets, Geert van der Ploeg Triple IT -- Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Help mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/rrd-users WebAdmin http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/lsg2.cgi
