I realize the d stands for database. I wasn't asking that. I would like to collect all my info in one place. Does RRD offer an option to log elsewhere? How scalable is RRDTool? If I implement many different monitoring sources how well will the "database" hold up? The last thing I want to do is to go to the trouble of developing all these monitors only to find out soem other way would have worked better.... I am sure you were a newbie once.......
