...don't think that this got her, for some reason. GCC - 3.2 Perl 5.6.1 Make - 3.79 libgcc - 3.2
I have compiled Perl from source as perviously suggested. I used the same compiler that I am using while trying to build RRDTool. I have configured using the --with-perl-install argument. The error that I am getting is: make[2]: Entering directory `/export/home/ssesar/rrdtool-1.0.39/perl-piped' make[2]: *** No rule to make target `/usr/perl5/5.6.1/lib/sun4-solaris-64int/Config.pm', needed by `Makefile'. Stop. make[2]: Leaving directory `/export/home/ssesar/rrdtool-1.0.39/perl-piped' make[1]: *** [perl_piped] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/export/home/ssesar/rrdtool-1.0.39' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 This error messages is correct: `/usr/perl5/5.6.1/lib/sun4-solaris-64int/Config.pm' doesn't exist. I would have expected that configure would have gotten the path to my Perl libs correct, since it found Perl itself.
