I'm new to this list, and this is my first post. I tried to search the archives but, couldn't find a lot of detail on what I am trying to accomplish. I figured it was time to ask someone with more experience than I for some information.
I currently use a NMS with a RRD backend to monitor customer data circuits, and would like to use the same data to generate text reports that could be emailed to customers showing their bandwidth utilization for the month. I would like to basically be able to give them a Max Output, 99th percentile, 95th percentile, 80th percentile type information from month to month for the purpose of capacity planning. Since this data is already collected and stored in RRD files used to generate bandwidth graphs on our website, is there any way to textulize the information in order to provide this kind of reporting? Has anyone done this before or something similar and maybe already has contributed scripts to the community?
