Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I am writing to say that the PREV(x) facility works as I expected it to in the new 1.0.40 release of rrdtool.
Eg given an RRD named 'successes' with GAUGE data whose values are (5, 10, 15, 20, 25) and DEFS and CDEFS like DEF:successes=some_path.rrd:successes:AVERAGE CDEF:prev_successes=PREV(successes) CDEF:delta_succ=successes,prev_successes,- then the values of delta_successes are (5, 5, 5, 5, 5).
