Sure,

Read this:

ation_design_guide_chapter09186a00800eaaff.html

That should keep you busy for the next days :)

Subject: [rrd-users] newbie mrtg questions

I just started using mrtg and looking at rrd,
what I need to do is collect the # of users on the routers (cisco)
which doesnt seem to be available to SNMP
and graph this over time.

I're read through the mrtg and rrd docs,
and while I mostly understand the mrtg stuff, I get lost
reading rrd docs really quickly.

I have no idea where to start with this.
Ultimately we'd like one html page showing all 20 routers
with NO interface stats or bandwidth, but JUST the # of users online.
and graph that.

Can someone help me with this ?

Dan.
