Interestingly enough, I thought the problem could be a peculiarity with IIS so I tried Apache (v2).
Same problem! Although, where the IIS version has a problem with directories more than one level deep (Directory[target]: a\b\c), the Apache version does not. Still no images though. SM -----Original Message----- From: Simon Mullis [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 03 December 2002 13:09 To: [email protected] Subject: [rrd-users] mrtg-rrd.cgi and IIS Hello All, I know this has been covered before in the archives but I have been unable to find a resolution to my problem... I use RRDs; MRTG; RRDCgi; MRTG-RRD.CGI and allsorts on a number of Unix systems for the more interesting non-operationally essential reporting that I do here (Flow analysis etc). Let's just say that I am obliged to use MRTG on a Windows platform for our production system if it is to be sufficiently supported. I would like to migrate our current MRTG system to use RRDs but: When using MRTG-RRD.CGI on IIS I have got everything working except the images when shown by the MRTG-RRD.CGI script are thin grey lines. When I look in the directories for the targets I can see that all of the images have been updated http://windows-box/mrtg-rrd.cgi/directory/target gives me all of the right content except the images are only grey lines. http://windows-box/mrtg-rrd.cgi/directory/target-day.png gives me a greay line but: http://windows-box/directory/target-day.png gives me the image. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks SM ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- Equinox Converged Solutions Limited.
