Before posting here I did search through the archives with no avail...so here I am :) I downloaded and un-tar rrdtool-1.0.41 to my home directory (running linux 7.3) and used the following command set: sh configure -- enable-configure make make-site-perl-install It appears that everything went fine except for nothing got installed under the default location "/usr/local/rrdtool-VERSION" but I found the executables (rrdtool,rrdupdate,rrdcgi) under /usr/bin/. I was under the impression that the above commands would configure, compile and install RRDtool in /usr/local/rrdtool-VERSION. Did I miss something ? If need be I'd be happy to provide with more information.
