If by config file you mean mrtg config file: no. The way I described it means you'll have to write things yourself. Just like the 'rrdtool graph ...' commands in the tutorial on the rrdtool website.

What it comes down to is make 24 DEF statements and 1 CDEF statement to add them together. like: DEF:port1=... .... DEF:port24=... CDEF:port_all=port1,port2,+,port3,+,....port24,+ AREA:port_all You could add CDEFs in between to turn unknown values into 0, but that's also in the tutorial.
