This isn't right. The start of the database should be well in the past. If unsure what to do, don't specify it and RRDtool will set a very reasonable default. > rrdtool update test.rrd > N:15341273:14508064:11497177:10533432:9502975:9219205:8556908:8551365:7554802:7404515 Update at time "N" is good, unless your database starts at "N". This produces the "illegal attempt to update..." message.
