Hi Sebastian, this problem only ocures if you choose RRAs that are not multiples of each other ... RRA selection (in rrd_fetch) goes for the RRA that best covers the 'range' you ask it for ... at the moment the selection algorithm does not care for the resolution as long as the coverage is complete ... and since the lower res rrd provides complete coverage where the higher res does not, it picks the lower res ... if you have an idea for an algorithm fix in rrd_fetch, please let me know your ideas ... as for the DEF line you can specify the step there ... but having rrdtool do the right thing would certainly be preferable ... cheers tobi -- Tobi Oetiker, OETIKER+PARTNER AG, Aarweg 15 CH-4600 Olten http://tobi.oetiker.ch [EMAIL PROTECTED] ++41 62 213 9902 -- Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Help mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive http://lists.ee.ethz.ch/rrd-users WebAdmin http://lists.ee.ethz.ch/lsg2.cgi
