When compiling under interix I needed to edit Makefile.PL from:
'dynamic_lib' => {'OTHERLDFLAGS' => "$librrd -lm"},
to:
'dynamic_lib' => {'OTHERLDFLAGS' => "$librrd -lm -lpng12 -lart_lgpl_2
-lfreetype"},
Without doing so make test failed:

Pretty sure this change will also be safe under other OS's but will need
