Sorry, I'm making a different point. In Mark's proposal, there are multiple parallel transport connections, each of which could in turn benefit from ECMP. The point is that within the domain and outside of the domain, his approach can make use of ALL of the available parallel paths. That's not possible for any single transport connection.
