Christian, I'd really prefer to have "Node Identifier" defined to mean an entirely non-routable name for the TCP/IP stack of a node.
Similarly, I'd really prefer to have "Locator" defined to be a routable name for a single subnetwork -- that is never used for identity. And, continuing with long-standing practice, I'd really prefer to use "Address" for objects having mixed location/identity semantics (e.g. IPX address, IP address, CLNP address).
