I'm running RHEL 4 and used the mkchroot.sh script to set up a chroot
directory. I was getting the infamous 'Connection closed' message and
came across this issue in the FAQ where it recommends copying the entire
contents of lib into chroot lib as a last resort. Just out of curiosity,
I ran 'ldd rssh_chroot_helper' and saw that /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (which is
linked to ld-2.3.4.so) was listed but not in the chroot lib. I copied it
over and voila the message went away and I was able to copy a file over.
So it seems the output of ldd isn't parsed correctly in the mkchroot.sh
script.
Just thought I'd pass along my findings in the event it helps anyone else.
