Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Which protocol did you try?
There’s an rssh config file to enforce certain protocol, also check the passwd file and make sure the user is pointed to rssh logon. Based on the config you can allow ssh traffic for example and block SFTP, it kind of micro manages the access methodology and was great for CHROOT purposes. From the looks of it, you attempted to login to the server via a protocol you didn’t allow. Honestly, would not use this anymore, it hasn’t been supported in years AFAIK.
