If the bulk import did not result in the putative new system starting with a big backlog, then I'd be ok with that. Some of the ideas in the last couple of mails (e.g. defaulting to HFDU or wont-fix if nothing happened for a long time after the initial report) could I guess have that effect. If OTOH, the putative new system were to start with a backlog of hundreds of reports, I think we'd be shooting ourselves in the foot and shouldn't do that. Cheers, S.
