I've read draft-rswg-rfc7997bis-11.txt and it seems fine to me. Noting that my txt rendering of it (in emacs) had no problem with the example Yen and Euro symbols. Good example.

I think that I'd like a Company name as part of an Affliation to have a consistent alternate. I guess that really, I want to be able to pattern match it against other entities to understand if two people are affliated the same way.
