Michael,
Since this document is in RSAB balloting, can I assume that this is a
comment for them? Are you asking for a change before the document gets
published? Or is this perhaps a comment to the RPC on implementing the
policy?

I've read draft-rswg-rfc7997bis-11.txt and it seems fine to me.
Noting that my txt rendering of it (in emacs) had no problem with the

Yen and Euro symbols. Good example.
Company names and geographic names generally do not need Latin
alternates, but they can be included at the discretion of the
author
and the RPC.
I think that I'd like a Company name as part of an Affliation to have
a consistent alternate. I guess that really, I want to be able to
pattern
match it against other entities to understand if two people are
affliated the
same way.
I don't know when a geographic name would be normative, but I guess
when it
is key to understanding the document, the RPC and author will apply
discretion.
