I'm trying to rsync to a backup machine, and quite often rsync will get a certain percentage through the sync and then go into sleep on both machines. I know this problem description is vague, but that's simply because I have no idea where to start investigating this problem. building file list ... done Campaign/ Campaign/campaign.dat -> campaign.dat.000927123820 Campaign/campaign.dat.000927123820 234959 (100%) Campaign/page_plan.dat -> page_plan.dat.000927123820 Campaign/page_plan.dat.000927123820 357395 (100%) Temp/OasDefault/ Temp/OasDefault/fCam.db 638693 (100%) Temp/OasDefault/fPag.db 162528 (8%) then the next time, it gets a little more done: building file list ... done Campaign/ Temp/OasDefault/ Temp/OasDefault/fPag.db 552347 (27%) i'm running with these flags: -vaz --progress --stats -e /usr/local/bin/ssh --rsync-path=/usr/local/bin/rsync any advice is much appreciated...
